Installation on other operating systems

Citavi is a Windows-based software and therefore only runs with Windows to date. A web version and a Mac version of the software are planned. The web version can be used across operating systems and will make cooperative work in a team possible.

There are, however, also possibilities for installing and operating Citavi on other operating systems.

Citavi on a Mac

So far, use on a Mac has only been possible under certain conditions, with the use of a virtualisation program at the same time, e.g.

• Parallels Desktop
• VMware Fusion
• Sun Virtual Box.
