The 5G StartUp Challenge conducted in the concept phase showed a high level of interest from startups to test and further develop product ideas in a 5G test field. In a virtual workshop, the eleven participating startups had the opportunity to present their company and ideas in a pitch. In addition, they were able to talk to experts and industry representatives and clarify open questions. Furthermore, the Ingolstadt 5G test site at the IN Campus as well as possible technical and infrastructural connecting points for 5G startups were presented. Afterwards, there was one week to submit the project ideas. A five member jury reviewed the concepts and chose their favourite: Ingolstadt-based ZERO GmbH!
