Christmas time - the best time

To make the most wonderful time of the year even more enjoyable, we came up with a few ideas during the Advent season. We started on December 6 with our traditional Christmas party. We invited all colleagues and their families, alumni and external partners. We decorated our office for Christmas so that everyone could get into the Christmas spirit. At the beginning, Prof. Endisch presented a short review of the year and reported on events and successes from 2023, after which we were able to help ourselves to a delicious buffet. Afterwards, there was plenty of time to chat over mulled wine, cake and gingerbread and enjoy the time together.

On 13.12. we continued with our Secret Santa campaign, which we have now organized for the 3rd year in a row. A few weeks beforehand, everyone drew a ticket and then had to give a present to the person whose name was on the ticket. The whole event remained secret, nobody was supposed to know who their Secret Santa was. All the presents were lovingly wrapped and placed on the gift table. We then unwrapped our presents together - a lovely tradition.

In the afternoon, it was time to get sporty. We met at the bouldering hall in Ingolstadt. Two trainers showed us the basics of bouldering and explained the different difficulty levels of the routes. Whether beginner or advanced - everyone got their money's worth here, was able to try out the different routes and also record one or two successes for themselves. After three sporty hours, we fortified ourselves with dinner together.

Now Christmas can come! :-)
