Welcome Professor Dr Oberhauser

We are very pleased to welcome a new colleague to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on 1 January 2022! A colleague who already knows the Technische Hochschule from a student's perspective. Professor Dr. Simon Oberhauser will teach in the area of materials and production engineering and is already looking forward to meeting the students!

After his mechanical engineering studies at the Ingolstadt University of Technology, he completed his doctorate on the topic of "Formation of Periodic Multilayer Layers by Diffusion Processes in Selected Ternary Systems" in a cooperative process at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg and the THI.

Afterwards, Professor Dr Oberhauser worked as managing director of InnCoa GmbH, a company specialising in the analysis and consulting of materials, surfaces and corrosion.
