Excursion to the "Intersolar | Smarter E" trade fair in Munich

Finally it is possible again! Organised by the head of the study programme Prof. Schrag, our Master students in the study programme "Renewable Energy Systems" and the Bachelor students of the 7th semester in the study programme "Energy Systems and Renewable Energies" were able to travel to Intersolar Europe in Munich on 7 October.

As part of the "Intersolar Study Program 2021", they were invited to visit the world's leading trade fair for the solar industry: Exhibitors from the fields of photovoltaics, solar power plants, e-mobility as well as grid infrastructure and solutions for the integration of renewable energies were represented there.

The smarter E Europe Restart 2021 can draw a positive balance: in the Corona-related compact Restart format, the innovation platform of the new energy world was a complete success.

"Finally being there again!" "Finally meeting customers, suppliers and colleagues in person again!" "Finally presenting innovations again and expanding the network!" These were all statements made by visitors, exhibitors, organisers and partners. With a total of over 450 exhibitors, 45,000 square metres of exhibition space and around 26,000 visitors from 93 countries, the event was held for the first time in over two years.

All excursion participants were able to explore the fair on their own, find out for themselves about current new developments and make contact with possible internship supervisors and potential employers. See for yourself!
